Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Kashmir Exotica Tour and Travels Pvt Ltd, we strive to provide
a seamless travel experience. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the
terms applicable to tour packages, hotel bookings, transportation services,
and other travel-related arrangements made through our company.
Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after the required advance payment
has been received and a booking confirmation has been issued by our company.
Cancellation by Customer
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or other
official communication channels.
Standard Cancellation Charges:
- More than 30 days before arrival: 10% cancellation charges.
- 15 to 30 days before arrival: 25% cancellation charges.
- 7 to 14 days before arrival: 50% cancellation charges.
- Less than 7 days before arrival: No refund.
- No-show or early departure: No refund will be applicable.
Actual cancellation charges may vary depending on hotel policies,
transportation providers, airlines, houseboats, and other third-party vendors.
Cancellation by Company
In rare situations, Kashmir Exotica Tour and Travels Pvt Ltd may cancel
a booking due to operational reasons, weather conditions, government restrictions,
natural disasters, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control.
In such cases, the customer may be offered an alternative arrangement,
travel credit, rescheduling option, or refund as determined by the company.
Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed through the original mode of payment
whenever possible.
- Refund processing may take 7–21 business days.
- Banking or payment gateway charges may be deducted where applicable.
- Third-party service fees are generally non-refundable.
Hotel & Houseboat Refunds
Hotel, resort, and houseboat reservations are subject to the individual
cancellation and refund policies of the respective property.
Transportation Refunds
Refunds for cab services, flights, train tickets, or other transportation
arrangements will depend on the cancellation policies of the respective providers.
Force Majeure
No refunds shall be provided for cancellations, interruptions, or changes
caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Floods or landslides
- Heavy snowfall
- Political unrest
- Government restrictions
- Pandemics or health emergencies
- Transport strikes or shutdowns
Unused Services
No refunds shall be provided for any unused portion of a tour package,
including missed sightseeing, meals, accommodation, or transportation services.
Amendments & Rescheduling
Requests for date changes or itinerary modifications are subject to availability
and may incur additional charges imposed by hotels, transport providers,
or other service partners.
